Entrepreneur David Moritz is Founder and CEO of three successful companies: Society Awards, Mode Design Group and Vision Vodka.

Founded in 2007, Society Awards is the premier designer and manufacturer of high-end custom awards and recognition products for the Luxury, Sports, and Entertainment Industries. Featuring notable clients such as the Golden Globes, Emmys, Espys and luxury brands like Rolls Royce, Society Awards has been able to grow fifty percent per year through a combination of top-notch service, innovation and award-winning design.

David followed up on the success of Society Awards with the launch of Mode Design Group. With Moritz at the helm, Mode has set a new standard for design studio exigence, securing high-profile clients like Pepsi, Playboy, Marc Jacobs, Patron Spirits, and Colgate-Palmolive in its first year.

Moritz leveraged the combined strengths of Society Awards and Mode Design Group to create Vision Vodka, a celebrated spirit that is quickly becoming the darling of the NY bar and
club scene.

With each success, David has shown a deft touch for understanding client need and
consumer want.

Our Team

Gabrielle Rein is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Mode Design Group. Gabrielle takes a tailored approach to every design challenge, assembling and directing specialized teams of senior talent to ensure Mode's design work is continually smart, fashionable and fresh. Believing great creative is what fits our client's brand best, Gabrielle encourages her team to "live our client's brands," believing deep creative insight can only come from personal experience. This approach has produced award-winning work for some of the world's most recognized brands.

Rein studied design at FIT in New York, she has, throughout her career, created seminal work for clients like Moet Hennessy, Dove (Unilever), Quaker, Williams-Sonoma, Ciroc, Evian, L'Oreal, Johnny Walker, and Lipton.

A proven brand-builder, Rein takes great pride in knowing her work drives business success. In 2008, Rein co-designed a jewelry line with women's-wear designed Michelle Smith for brand Milly. The line debuted on the runway at Olympus Fashion Week, in NYC and went on to become the designer's spring jewelry line with "cool statement necklaces that are sure to help build her brand" according to the New York Post's Raakhee Mirchandani.

Design entrepreneur. Business strategist. Innovation specialist. For twenty years Tom Higbee has delivered ideas with real value. The font of his inspiration is the diversity of his experience, having advised more than 75 companies accross a multitude of categories, and having traveled throughout more than 70 countries, collecting insight and inspiration at each stop along the way.

Tom channels this experience into helping clients and creative teams "see differently," encouraging them to open the aperture on what an idea or brand can be.

A storyteller by trade, Tom draws on his background in Advertising, Design, eBusiness and Strategy to ensure good ideas are embraced and manifest in every aspect of a client's brand or business.

The Studio

We are early adaptors! The Standard Motors Building boasts the largest urban farm in the United States on its rooftop, and is revitalizing the LIC-Astoria border to be a green-friendly environment. The Mode Studio on the 5th floor is designed to foster creative synergy, efficient and collaborative work. Open modern spaces with organic touches, original artwork and classic modern design pieces. The space was designed by world renowned architects from Bromley Caldari.
